About Aaron

Brooklyn Born. Brooklyn Raised.

Born on Atlantic Avenue and raised in Crown Heights, Aaron D. Franklin is a proud son of Brooklyn and a member of the Chabad community. A former rabbinical student turned litigator, he brings both moral seriousness and courtroom rigor to everything he does.

A graduate of Yeshiva University's Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Aaron has built his career in complex civil litigation in New York and Israel — the commercial disputes, landlord–tenant, and housing cases that are the daily work of the Civil Court he seeks to serve.

  • Principal Attorney, Franklin Law (Brooklyn) — civil litigation, commercial disputes, landlord–tenant and housing court
  • Senior Associate, Berkman Law & Bratkovsky — real estate litigation and housing disputes
  • Former Intern, Kings County District Attorney's Office
  • Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University
The Platform

Safety. Fairness. Law.

Safety Is a Civil Right

Every family in every neighborhood of this district deserves courts that work — promptly, predictably, and with respect for the law-abiding.

Rule of Law

Judges should apply the law as written — not legislate from the bench. A courtroom is a place for law, not politics.

Respect for Community

Tenants, landlords, and small business owners alike deserve a fair hearing, a clear ruling, and equal dignity before the court.

Consistent with the New York Rules of Judicial Conduct, this campaign makes no pledges or promises about how any case or issue would be decided. What it promises is a judge who is qualified, fair, independent, and prepared.
